Does this patient have deep vein thrombosis?

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to systematically review trials that determined the prevalence of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) using clinical prediction rules either with or without D-dimer, for the diagnosis of DVT. The conclusion shows that diagnostic accuracy for DVT improves when clinical probability is estimated before diagnostic tests.
