Dreamcatchers: Supporting bereaved children

Article Abstract:

Patricia Williams and Christine Lunn have set up a programme known as Dreamcatchers programme to provide support to children and young people coping with bereavement. The idea of the Dreamcatchers programme is to take away children and parents for a residential weekend separately, where they are allowed to talk about their grief and emotions. The aim is to remember the person who has died and to help them talk about it when they return home.
