Emergency contraception

Article Abstract:

Any woman between the ages of 19 and 26 who does not want to become pregnant but has sex without using any contraceptive should take an emergency contraceptive as soon as possible after intercourse. Women in this age group have the highest fertility rate, with up to a 50% chance of pregnancy following unprotected sex. These women should also be encouraged to use regular contraception.
