Feds have all the data, but safer driving starts on the job

Article Abstract:

The United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the National Safety Council have long estimated the statistics of the traffic accidents and identified that unsafe driving practices to be the root cause of all fatal disasters. The need for employers to provide basic driver safety training and procedures that will help for the improvement of the driving workforce is emphasized.

Surviving workers' comp: states start with safety

The rising costs of worker compensation benefits are forcing states to come up with new programs and policies to reduce claims. A study of the plans at some of the states like New York, West Virginia, and Florida, are presented.

Enhanced emergency response requires better communications
