Fetal pulmonary artery diameter measurements as a predictor of morbidity in antenatally diagnosed congenital diaphragmatic hernia: A prospective study

Article Abstract:

The size and growth of fetal pulmonary artery diameters in congenital diaphragmatic hernia is examined and their correlation with postnatal survival and morbidity outcomes is assessed. Fetal pulmonary artery diameter measurements have correlated well with respiratory morbidity in postnatal congenital diaphragmatic hernia and have assisted with the prediction of outcome.

Perfusion studies of glyburide transfer across the human placenta: Implications for fetal safety

Article Abstract:

In vitro perfusion studies of human colyedon are performed to quantify placental transfer of glyburide. Conclusion reveals that it is the first direct evidence of active glyburide transport from the fetus to the mother and in general of any medicinal drug and used during pregnancy.
