Financial advisers

Article Abstract:

The complicated issues surrounding womens' finances often make it beneficial to seek help from a professional when planning for the future. Women have a longer life expectancy than men, although many take time out from pension contributions to have children and raise a family. Professional financial help is essential in ensuring adequate arrangements are made to meet demands in later life. Women may also wish to take advise regarding where their money is invested, especially if they have strong ethical believes, such as not wishing to have money in a bank which supports an oppressive regime.

Specialist insurance

Article Abstract:

Almost everything can be financially protected through an insurance policy. The global insurance industry re-pays 54 billion pounds sterling per year for damage repairs incurred during natural disasters. Insuring garden equipment and ornaments is becoming standard for many UK households, who as a nation spend up to 2 billion pounds sterling per year on garden products. Medical situations can also be insured, such as covering the extra financial cost of having twins, although a history of twins in the family would prove prohibitive.

Travel insurance

Article Abstract:

Nurses should investigate holiday insurance prices before parting with money. Deregulation of the insurance industry has resulted in holiday makers being able to purchase insurance from agents other than holiday companies, although up to 40% of holiday makers still buy directly from tour operators. Purchasing a yearly insurance cover package can save holiday makers money if they take more than one holiday per year.
