Article Abstract:

Flucinonide is a topical steroid that is prescribed for skin disorders, which have failed to respond to other corticosteroids, as it suppresses the inflammatory reaction. Cushing's syndrome, exacerbation of infections, mild depigmentation and contact dermatitis are some of the few side effects of this drug and it is most suitable for moist or weepy lesions and for dry and scaly lesions.

The Waterlow Risk Assessment Card is examined for its potential to identify risk factors affecting tissue viability in rheumatic disease.
