Folic acid

Article Abstract:

Folic acid, a water soluble vitamin in the B-complex group, is essential for the activity of several enzymes that is required for the manufacture of nucleic acids and therefore for growth and reproduction, as well as the formation of red blood cells and the function of central nervous system. A varied diet that contains fresh fruits and vegetables usually provides sufficient folic acid and its supplements should be continued until the 12th week of pregnancy.

Diagnosis and management options of ankle sprain injury

Article Abstract:

Ankle sprain injuries account for as many as 600,000 attendances at the Accident and Emergency every year in United Kingdom and are a common injury affecting people of all age groups. Anatomy and physiology of ankle, diagnosis of ankle sprain and its management are described and a case study is presented.
