Get your patient involved in treatment decision-making

Article Abstract:

The issue of physicians and patients together being involved in the treatment decision-making is discussed with reference to a case study of a patient diagnosed with prostate cancer. Thus, it is suggested that even though there are increasing benefits to physician recommendations, patients should always view it with caution.
