Article Abstract:

Evaluation of minor injuries unit (MIU) medical guidelines at a UK hospital have helped the nursing staff ensure all their practice is based on well tries nursing techniques which are backed up by evidence and evaluation. Up to 20 different procedures where assessed during an audit of MIU guidelines, with each topic being thoroughly examined for treatment and recovery techniques. The guidelines are now an intricate part of the medical treatment at the MIU.

Article Abstract:

The RCN has confirmed to pass a resolution to provide effective psychological support for those who have served in military conflict. A literature review into post-traumatic stress is undertaken by a group of council members and the evidence indicates that 50 percent of all military personnel experienced a stress disorder.
