Helpful tips for a healthy smile

Article Abstract:

There is a high prevalence of persons having dental and gum problems. The American Dental Assn suggests tips that will help prevent gum and dental diseases. The teeth should be brushed for three minutes at least twice a day with a soft-bristled toothbrush. It should be followed by flossing to remove the food particles inserted between the teeth. The mouth should be protected from contracting diseases by choosing the correct dentist and eliminating bad oral habits. The practice of good oral hygiene and avoiding factors that contribute to oral cancer prevent the occurrence of the disease.
