Hot on the TRAIL of acute promyelocytic leukemia

Article Abstract:

The author focuses on the ability of the all-trans-retinioc acid to stimulate granulocytic differentiation which may be useful in the acute promyelocytic leukemia treatment. The author also discusses the possibility that this drug can induce post-maturation apoptosis through the Apo-2L/tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand.
