Improving referral information in community mental health

Article Abstract:

Community mental health team (CMHT) decided to use a self-assessment questionnaire (SAQ), to improve the information about clients and the service they received. The CMHT team believes that the SAQ is beneficial for both clients and staff and the SAQ approach is adaptable for other CMHTs and other area of mental health work.

Managing community mental health teams' workloads

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to determine if the workload weighting system is a reliable way to assess the workload of community mental health teams (CMHTs). It was concluded that the system is more suitable for CMHT workers who carry defined caseloads as Care Programme Approach (CPA) care coordinators.
