Interactions between secondhand smoke and genes that affect cyctic fibrosis lung disease

Article Abstract:

The study was undertaken to assess the relation between passive smoking and the role of inherited genes that could cause development of cystic fibrosis. Results revealed that carriers of the genes exposed to secondhand smoke had greater chances of developing the lung ailment.
