Ionising radiation at work

Article Abstract:

The uncertainty surrounding how much ionising radiation is harmful to an employee in the workplace makes it difficult to set exact limits on exposure to radiation, although experts believe exposure should be limited to a minimum. Radiation Protection Advisers should be appointed where the levels of radiation are higher than legal limits allow, with advice sought from health and safety boards as to how best to protect workers.
