Laryngeal mask airway

Article Abstract:

The laryngeal mask airway (LMA) is being increasingly used as a first-line airway device during resuscitation when a skilled practitioner is unavailable for tracheal intubation. The description of LMA and the procedure for its insertion is mentioned and the difficulties that could arise during its insertion are presented.
