Making a mark in dermatology

Article Abstract:

Jane Linward, a winner of a NHS award and a chief nurse specialist at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London has dedicated her life to children with birthmarks and severe skin conditions by offering them medical treatment, laser therapy, and emotional support to overcome their problems. She reveals that among children with range of bad skin conditions, majority are either suffering from port wine stains or haemangioma.

A new approach to care homes

Article Abstract:

The Care Homes Support Team (CHST) is an old age home, an institution funded by three primary care trusts and offers advice, support, and training to its members coming from about 40 homes at London. The residents suffering from stroke, dementia, neurodegenerative diseases, and arthritis all often arising from depression are treated there with utmost care.
