"My hero!" Why grown men are turned on by rescue fantasies

Men love to fantasize on being heroes, rescuing a woman in need. They believe that by simply giving a hand to a woman in instances wherein a man's masculinity is required, provides them the chance to reveal themselves truthfully, thus reminding them of their differences.

Women tend to criticize a partner's choice of clothes more as compared to men. Men rather say nothing and keep their disapproval to themselves than criticize the clothing of their dates. Women often feel that their taste in fashion is better than that of men.
