Neal Barnard

Article Abstract:

Neal Barnard, president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine believes that the group has relentlessly lobbied for alternatives to animal research and is an endless source of vexation for federal nutrition-policymakers. The committee has long campaigned for medical schools to stop using animals to train students and takes some credit for the fact that 106 of 125 medical schools have abandoned the practice.

Mezzanine has not been used more widely for a number of reasons, including the adequate amount of senior debt and equity available and the use of vendor finance.
