New concepts in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Article Abstract:

This review describes pathophysiological characteristics of the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The hypereosinophilic syndrome revisited

Article Abstract:

Research shows that the myeloproliferative and lymphocytic variants of hyperiosinophilic syndrome, involving myeloid and lymphoid cells, are distinct and each is associated with the risk for development of hematological malignancies. This review addresses the management of the syndrome especially with the recent finding that it is not idiopathic.
