New opportunities on the horizon

Article Abstract:

National Service Framework for Mental Health's publication has improved the services significantly, and there has been huge investment in new, purpose-built facilities to care for people with mental health problems requiring inpatient care. These facilities create therapeutic environments that enable professionals to engage with patients and give them plenty of activities to both occupy them and help them to overcome or at least manage their problems more effectively.
