Noble Corp receives first-ever Campbell Award

The focus of the National Safety Council and Exxon Mobil Corp., who co-sponsored the Robert W Campbell Award, has been on establishing practicing good safety and health practice standards, which in turn lead to good business. The Campbell Award was presented to James C Day, chairman and CEO of Nobel Corp., on the opening day of the CouncilEs Annual Congress & Expo. The company- wide emphasis on safety gives the power to even the lowliest company worker to stop operations if he comes across an unsafe situation, proving the commitment of the company to effective safety culture.

Council sponsors HazMat/Central '93

The National Safety Council will sponsor the sixth HazMat/Central '93 Environmental Management and Technology Conference and Exhibition to be held on Mar 9 to 11, 1993 in Rosemont, IL. The conference and workshop program will discuss the latest information and conduct specialized training in environmental regulations, management and technology. About 250 exhibit booths will also display the newest products and services for the environmental management industry.
