Panic attack: it's not in your head

Article Abstract:

Individuals suffering from panic disorder can be relieved of their affliction provided they avail of psychotherapy, medication and help from a support group. However, less than 23% of those afflicted with the disorder make an effort to seek professional attention due to the stigma associated with it. If left unaided, victims will eventually have phobias, experience a variety of physical sensations and develop a low level of self-esteem.

A sudden, extremely painful headache could be a sign of bleeding inside the head and should not be ignored. The various possible causes of bleeding inside the head are examined, along with symptoms and possible treatments.

The risk of suffering a stroke dramatically rises if an transient ischemic attack has happen, although many people fail to act on the signs which indicate potential blood clots in the brain or blocked arteries.
