Perfect timing: when and what you eat can spike hormones for growth

Article Abstract:

Previous research has shown that eating shortly after training spurs muscle growth and replaces depleted energy stores. A recent study identifies the proper time for eating after training and the amounts of protein and carbohydrates that should be included in the meal.

The effect of creatine on nitrogen balance: growth & strength are involved

Article Abstract:

The compound called creatine phosphate replenishes the amount of adenosine triphosphate lost during strenuous exercises such as running and weightlifting. Its effect is long-term and helps in muscle recuperation and development.
