Preeclampsia, gestational hypertension and intrauterine growth restriction, related or independent conditions?

Article Abstract:

Preeclampsia, gestational hypertension, and unexplained intrauterine growth restriction having similar determinants and consequences are studied comparing determinants and perinatal outcomes associated with obstetric conditions. The results reveal that preeclampsia and gestational hypertension have related condition, both increasing the risk of morbidity and morality.

Epidermal clitoral inclusion cyst after type I female genital mutilation

Article Abstract:

Type I female genital mutilation can cause a cyst to form in the clitoris. The cyst can usually be surgically removed. Type I female genital mutilation involves removing the tissue surrounding the clitoris but leaving the clitoris and other genital tissue intact.

Vulvar epithelial inclusion cyst as a late complication of childhood female traditional genital surgery

Article Abstract:

Doctors describe the case of a 19-year-old Eritrean woman who had a large mass where a woman's clitoris normally would be. She had been circumcised at the age of 8 weeks and the mass was considered to be a complication of female circumcision.
