Putting ageism in the past

Article Abstract:

The impact of new age discrimination law on nurses and their employers, which will come into effect from October 1, 2006, is examined. The Employment Equality Regulations 2006 will ban age discrimination in terms of recruitment, promotion and training, remove the existing age limit for unfair dismissal and also age limits for statutory sick pay.
