For instance, patients being screened for breast cancer are given rapid responses to alleviate their uncertainty while waiting for test results.

Article Abstract:

All patients, including the elderly, should be treated with respect. For example, physicians should address their older patients by their full names and carefully listen to their concerns to avoid dangerous errors. In addition, they should monitor the prescriptions that older patient are taking to be sure that they are not overmedicated. Overmedication is dangerous and can deplete an older person's limited income.
