Reevaluation of temporary transvenous cardiac pacemaker usage during carotid angioplasty and stenting: A safe and valuable adjunct

Article Abstract:

The safety and efficiency of prophylactic percutaneous temporary transvenous cardiac pacemaker insertion during carotid angioplasty and stenting (CAS) procedures to avoid hemodynamic changes are assessed. After CAS, none of the patients required long pacing or medication therapy.

Endovascular treatment of the endoleak causing rupture of a previously bypassed popliteal aneurysm: A case report

Article Abstract:

A case report exhibiting the success of an endovascular treatment of a ruptured popliteal aneurysm previously bypassed and presumably excluded is presented. The case report demonstrates that continuous follow-up after the treatment of popliteal aneurysm is needed.
