Article Abstract:

Low-fat smoothies, breakfast drinks prepared in a blender, provide nutrition and energy. The ingredients that can be used in smoothies include frozen strawberries, bananas, melons, yogurt and powdered milk. Sunflower seeds and wheat germ can also be used. Four smoothie recipes are presented.
