Rule out abuse

Article Abstract:

NHS Counter Fraud Service has extended its responsibilities towards verbal abuse faced by nurses all over UK and formed a new institution, Counter Fraud and Security Management Service (CFSMS). Since a campaign survey reveals that nine on ten nurses face verbal abuse from patients and more than half of them are not trained in dealing with such patients, CFSMS plans to train 730,000 NHS staff in conflict resolution.

Can nurses learn about customer service from private sector?

Article Abstract:

NHS-Live is a one-year programme designed to encourage the exchange of good ideas about new ways of delivering patients. The programme has 352 projects out of which 145 will be partnered with commercial organizations and the organizations will contribute half amount of the project.
