Seated barbell press

Article Abstract:

The seated barbell press is a safer alternative to the behind-the-neck press for developing one's shoulders. Major muscles involved in this form of exercise include the supraspinatus, the middle and anterior deltoids, the serratus anterior, the trapezius and the triceps.

Dumbbell shrug

The Dumbbell Shrug is a workout which can be used to develop the trapezius, levator scapulae and rhomboid muscles. The muscles which are improved by this exercise are important in sports particulary in weightlifting, volleyball and basketball.
