Silent genital herpes

Article Abstract:

A person who has been infected with herpes can still transmit the virus even if symptoms are not present any longer. A study has shown that contracting Type 1 herpes does not immunize a person from Type 2. Thus, precautions must be taken even after three months.

Cats: a pregnant pause?

Article Abstract:

Toxoplasmosis is a disease from cat feces that could have adverse effects on the unborn child. But since it cannot be transmitted if acquired long before the pregnancy, it would be unecessary to remove a pet cat from the home.
