State plan states bring safety control home

Article Abstract:

22 State plant states will develop and practice their own occupational safety and health compliance programs for private and public sector employees. Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 enables such states under the State Plan to get up to 50% of their operational costs from OSHA.
