Article Abstract:

Nurse-administered propofol sedation (NAPS), although controversial, is being widely used. Some of recommendations formulated from guidelines issued by different organizations for safe administration of NAPS include informed consent from patient, careful selection of candidates for NAPS and conduct a presedation patient evaluation.
