THC: moderation during implantation

Article Abstract:

A new study explains the dynamics of delta (super 9)-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and renews concerns about marijuana use in pregnant women. Maternal marijuana use is connected with lower infant weight at birth as well as sophisticated cognitive deficits in childhood and adolescence.

Pot of gold for glioma therapy

Agonists derived from marijuana, or cannabis, arrest glioid tumors in rodents. This suggests cannabinoids may have possibilities for anti-cancer therapy.

Anti-tumoral action of cannabinoids: involvement of sustained ceramide accumulation and extracellular signal-regulated kinase activation

Article Abstract:

Tetrahydrocannabinol has been shown to regress malignant gliomas in rats. This study suggests a new approach in drug therapy for malignant gliomas.
