The OK way to keep track of clients' health needs

Article Abstract:

An inability to fully express themselves can led to people with learning difficulties being overlooked in the area of health. The UK Department of Health has developed a straight forward set of guidelines to enable health professionals assess the health needs of a person with learning difficulties. The OK Health Check assesses 120 separate factors which require a simply yes or no answer from the patient. The test is easy to carry out and offers health professionals a quantitative method to assess patients needs.
