Perinatal mortality and neonatal morbidity rates among twin pairs at different gestational ages: optimal delivery timing at 37 to 38 weeks' gestation

Article Abstract:

All women who are pregnant with twins should have labor induced at 37 to 38 weeks if they have not delivered by then. According to a study of 8,150 twin pregnancies, delivery at 37 to 38 weeks was associated with the lowest rates of death, respiratory distress syndrome, and long hospital stays.
