Article Abstract:

The life of cardiac cripple Reverend Martin C. C. Wang is discussed who despite all the obstacles placed in his path has led a charmed life. A magnificent party was conducted for Martin when his physical condition was deteriorating in which all the people whom he knew were invited to share their love and affection for the old Reverend and his family.

Hospitalization before and after gastric bypass surgery

Article Abstract:

The rates and indications for inpatient hospital use before and after Rouxen-Y gastric bypasses ((RYGB) is determined. Increases in hospital use after surgery appear to be related to RYGB and hence payers, clinicians and patients must consider the not-inconsequential rate of rehospitalization after this type of surgery.

Myocardial injury and long-term mortality following moderate to severe carbon monoxide poisoning

Article Abstract:

The association between myocardial injury and long-term mortality in patients following moderate to severe Carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning is determined. The studies reveal that myocardial injury occurs frequently in patients hospitalized for moderate to severe CO poisoning and is a significant predictor of mortality.
