The process of facilitation

Article Abstract:

Facilitating learning for student nurses involves several processes, starting with the creation of an effective learning environment. The facilitator's relationship with the learner is a major factor in achieving this goal since learners must realise that they are the most important if learning is to be successful. Establishing a simple structure to ensure that learning takes place is helpful, while setting goals is vital. The effectiveness of the learning process should be evaluated and learners assessed to see if they have achieved their goals. A study plan and activities are included.
