Tort reform passes in Ohio, but thereEs no immediate relief

Article Abstract:

Ohio became the fourth state to pass tort reform in 2002 in an effort to stabilize the medical liability insurance market for physicians, who are increasingly unable to afford their premium. The Ohio doctors view it as the beginning of changes that are required to bring down premium increases, which have averaged 40 percent during the past two years.
