Using a time-saving form to document emergency assessments
Article Abstract:
SOAP format, an emergency care assessment form, is developed to help organize the doctors and staff for effective emergency case management. The emergency care assessment worksheets allows the doctors and staff members to circle or highlight quickly the basic findings of the emergency case, and the dentists could use the form for internal gathering and organizing of information.

Conservative treatment of the Class I legion: A new paradigm for dentistry
Article Abstract:
There is a shift from reliance on gross mechanical instrumentation of dental caries to early diagnosis and treatment of the bacterial infection that causes caries. The dentists have embraced a new paradigm in the treatment of the Class I legion, and are acknowledging their role as clinical cariologists to determine the appropriate clinical response.

The effect of esthetic consultation methods on acceptance of diastema-closure treatment plant: a pilot study
Article Abstract:
A pilot study is conducted to examine which of four consultation methods helped patients to understand a proposed treatment plan for maxillary anterior diastema closure. Patients preferred the computer-imaging simulation method for understanding the treatment plan for diastema closure.
