Psychiatrists for the defense and prosecution discuss their findings and feelings concerning the sanity of John W. Hinckley Jr., who attempted to assassinate President Ronald Reagan, press officer James S. Brady, policy officer Thomas Delahanty, and secret service agent Timothy McCarthy. The ramifications of the not guilty by reason of insanity trial defense is discussed.
