Licensing test change is debated

Article Abstract:

The Federation of State Medical Boards is considering new medical licensure procedures. Under the new procedures there would be two different Federation Licensing Examinations (FLEX). FLEX I would be given to medical school graduates during their first year of residency and FLEX II would be given to those seeking an unrestricted license to practice in the general field of medicine. The American Medical Associations concerns are discussed.
