Will the song remain the same?

Article Abstract:

The United Kingdom Labour Party pledged to reduce hospital waiting lists, however, it is becoming evident that the current waiting lists, which have reached 1.1 million, will actually get longer during winter 1997. The health secretary is planning to visit hospitals to ensure they are doing all they can to prevent anyone in need being turned away and other ministers are ordering National Health Service Trusts to save money and be more efficient. The Labour Party is worried about the negative impact of being seen to fail to deliver one of its main pledges.
