Work it out

Article Abstract:

Workplace musculoskeletal disorders (WMSD) are the common ailment of employees. These medical conditions affect the nerves, tendons, invertebral discs and muscles and other disorders such as back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome and tension neck syndrome. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health identified three types of risk factors in the development of WMSD and these are genetic, work-related and personal risk factors. To address this problem, several companies have designed exercise programs that could prevent ergonomic problems.
