Human factors and the innovation process

Article Abstract:

Knowledge of an investor's preferences and motivation will enhance the success of innovation programs. The process of innovation requires the extensive evaluation of an inventor's behavior and personal views. This will permit a manager to apply specific strategies to improve performance during an innovation program. An inventor's motivation and performance can be improved by developing the proper work environment that coincides with an inventor's personality and preferences. This strategy will facilitate the entry of new products into the consumer market.
