Proximity talks

Article Abstract:

The term 'proximity talks' was coined by Joe Sisco in the 1994 Egyptian-Israeli talks when the two sides did not want to meet face to face. Ralph Bunch first practiced this kind of diplomacy in 1948-49. Gender concerns prompts use of 'all to our own' instead of 'each to his own.'
