Article Abstract:
The new agricultural tenancies regime established under the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995 is likely to encourage more landlords to consider letting farmland. It will allow parties to negotiate a contract of tenancy, but will provide a statutory framework which gives some protection to the tenant. It is possible that the regulated nature of the rent reviews allow by statute will discourage landlords from letting agricultural land on tenancies of more than two years.

Life as we know it on planet earth may be ordinary or it may be quite different from most other life forms in the cosmos. One idea is that life started elsewhere and when that planet was doomed, creatures carrying only the gene code for humans as we know them, came to planet earth.
