Elizabeth Spelke, Psychologist

Article Abstract:

Elizabeth Spelke, a psychologist is working to expand scientists' knowledge of which capacities humans are born with and how those capacities change with age. The simplicity of Spelke's experiments and the resulting clarity of her findings have illuminated infants' often surprising abilities and helped push away some older ideas about child development.
