James A. Bell, as chief financial officer (CFO) of the Boeing Co. was primarily responsible for the financial management of Boeing, including its reporting and accounting in accordance with accepted corporate practices and federal law, in areas including taxes, dividends, and annual reports. Bell is a member of the board of directors of the Dow Chemicals Co., the Joffrey Ballet, the Chicago Urban League, World Business Chicago, the Chicago Economic Club, and New Leaders for New Schools.
